Westfield Youth Assistance Program (WYAP) has created an Amazon Wishlist full of camp supplies, which are needed to help send WYAP youth to camp this summer.

WYAP works to connect as many youth as possible with summer camp opportunities, knowing that summer camp can be an empowering and life-changing experience for youth. Connecting these youth with camps is just the first step because many of them need help with obtaining the supplies they need to attend camp. These supplies range from smaller items like sunscreen and bug spray to larger items like sleeping bags and duffels.

In 2024, WYAP connected youth with 426 unique camp and enrichment activities. These connections are all made possible thanks to the generosity of donors, sponsors, and partner agencies.

“My mom is a single mom and can’t afford summer camp. I went to a camp about nature. I love animals and nature!” a WYAP youth reflects on their summer camp experience. “On the very first day, I made a new friend. We laughed a lot! Camp was a great way to spend my last week of summer! I am so happy and grateful that I got to go! Thank you for helping families like mine!”
