Westfield Youth Assistance Program Hosting Annual “Egg My Yard” Fundraiser
WESTFIELD, INDIANA – Westfield Youth Assistance Program (WYAP) is partnering with National Charity League to stuff and hide eggs for the annual “Egg My Yard” fundraiser, thanks to the generous sponsorship from Wittler Orthodontics.
On the evening of Saturday, April 19, members of National Charity League, Crossroads Chapter, will hide eggs in the front or back yards of registrants. Registration is open to any address within Westfield Washington Township, and registrants will have an option of $25 for 25 eggs, $50 for 50 eggs, or $75 for 75 eggs. The eggs will be filled with a variety of chocolate and non-chocolate sweets. For the first time, registrants will also be able to choose the level of difficulty that the eggs are hidden. To account for choking hazards, the suggested age is 5+.
“We are pleased to offer this for the community while raising funds that allow us to continue serving our youth,” WYAP Board President Tammy Havard states.
Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit WYAP, which will help fund a variety of services, including mentoring, tutoring, summer camps, mental health sessions, and a variety of enrichment activities. WYAP serves youth ages 3-17 who are facing challenging life circumstances, by collaborating with the community’s vast array of talents, services, and resources to help empower youth and their families.
The deadline for registration is Sunday, April 13. To register, please visit the Egg My Yard Google form or the Events tab on our website (westfieldyap.org).
