Were you looking for a way to get involved with WYAP, but don’t have the year-long time commitment that is involved with being a Board Member? WYAP also has some committees that may be the perfect fit for you.

Committees

• Youth Recognition Breakfast – help plan and organize our annual event which recognizes youth in the Westfield Washington Schools who have overcome adversity, had a change in attitude about school, or made a drastic academic turnaround. This committee involves both event planning, as well as selection committee deciding on who will be awarded from the nominees.
• “The Double” Walk/Run – help plan and organize our new annual Walk/Run, which takes place in August in Cool Creek Park. You can volunteer to help plan the event, or we may need volunteers the day of the event for set up.
• Fundraising/Sponsorship/Communications – help WYAP get connected with other businesses and organizations in our area. We are always searching for new partnerships and connections, and are looking for volunteers who are willing to facilitate those needs.
• Scholarship – help WYAP by joining our selection committee and reviewing applications for our annual Christine D. Brown Memorial Scholarship
