I grew up outside of Philadelphia and graduated with my Bachelor’s from Duquesne University in Integrated Marketing/Communications and my Master’s from Northeastern University in Music Industry Communications. While in undergrad, I participated in the Disney College Program at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts and studied abroad in Rome, Italy. During my Master’s program, I interned for the Communications Department at B.B. King’s Blues Club in New York City. I love to travel and learn new languages, so I knew I wanted to experience living abroad. I took classes to get my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate and moved to South Korea. I taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade English in Seoul for two years before moving to Indiana to join my family who had moved to Westfield while I was abroad. Before joining WYAP, I worked as a substitute teacher at Westfield Washington Schools. I knew I wanted a job that involved both my communications skills and my love for kids and education, so I knew WYAP was a perfect fit! In my free time I enjoy going to concerts, trying out new restaurants with my friends, and brushing up on my Korean language skills.
