Tammy Havard
Tammy Havard has been involved in the community since moving to Westfield. She was in the first mentor group of Westfield Youth Assistance and is excited to now serve WYAP as Board President. She is in her 8th year as a Girl Scout Troop leader. Tammy’s background is municipal government, where she served for over 15 years. She is currently on the board for the Certified Public Manager Program. She lives in Westfield with her husband, two kids and dog.
Brittany Winebar
Brittany Winebar currently serves as the Director of Advancement at Prevail, Inc. She has been a steadfast advocate for youth and their families, providing leadership and consulting in victim advocacy and trauma-informed and responsive practice. She has previously served as a mentor for Westfield Youth Assistance and on the Board of Directors for Hamilton County Leadership Academy. She is currently the Vice President of Westfield Youth Assistance Program. Brittany resides in Westfield with her two labradoodles.
Mindy Garcia
Mindy is the Sales Manager for CENTURY 21 Scheetz in Carmel, where she leads a team of real estate professionals. She has previously served on the boards of Agape House and Safe Families for Children, and now serves as Secretary for WYAP, where she loves being part of an organization focused on providing opportunities to children and youth in the community. Mindy resides in Westfield with her husband and their two sons, aged 17 and 18.
Madeline Priest
Madeline is a Management Consultant at Bondry Consulting, a municipal advisory firm. Madeline’s background in commercial underwriting well positions her as the Treasurer of Westfield Youth Assistance Program. Since moving to Westfield in 2018, Madeline has served her community in various capacities and enjoys lending her professional finance background to advance non-profit organizations in the community. WYAP is special to Madeline due to the direct impact on children and families in the neighborhood.
Steve Latour
Steve Latour is the Westfield Financial Center Director at The Farmers Bank, where he oversees business development and community engagement. A Michigan native and Central Michigan University alum, Steve is passionate about supporting local organizations having formally served as the CEO of the Westfield Chamber of Commerce from 2020 – 2023. He is a member of the Hamilton County Leadership Academy’s (HLCA) 2025 class and serves on his HOA board as President.
Chelsea Beaman
Chelsea Beaman currently serves as the Chief Data Privacy Officer for Region Americas at Elekta, a global medical device company. Chelsea resides in Westfield with her son whom she is raising to embrace volunteerism as much as she does. Chelsea has served on various not-for-profit boards in and around the Westfield and Indianapolis communities, including serving as the current Vice President for the Kiwanis Club of Westfield. Chelsea strives to give back and enrich others’ lives and is especially passionate about helping children and those living with disabilities.
Randy Biederstedt
Randy is the Director of Network Planning for Brightspeed, a local telecommunications provider serving mostly rural areas. Randy and his wife Betsy moved to Westfield 3 years ago and love the community. Randy and his family, including his two adult children, have been involved in many organizations that support children including Big Brothers, Children’s Museum Guild, Best Buddies, and as a youth sports coach. WYAP provides an opportunity to continue to give back through supporting children.
Todd Dailey
Todd is the President and COO of Insurance Management Group, a local independent insurance agency in the north central Indiana area. He and his wife Jenna are 15-year residents of Westfield, where they live with their 3 boys (Noah, Oliver and Grant). Todd is also on the board of the United Way of Grant County, and a strategic advisor to Mariposa, a non-profit based in the Dominican Republic. In between the above commitments, Todd also enjoys running, golfing, and traveling.
Chad Gross
Chad Gross currently serves as the Operations Manager for the LEDVANCE (Formerly Known as OSRAM SYLVANIA) National Customer Service, Sales, and Lightpoint Training Center on Union Street here in Westfield where he has been employed for the past 26 years. Together with his wife Valerie, who has shared in this journey for three decades, Chad’s heart beats passionately for their community. They have opened their hearts and home as former foster parents, nurturing and impacting lives for nine transformative years, and they have steadfastly supported the Westfield Youth Assistance Program for over 13 years, embodying the true spirit of giving back.
Tonya Hyatt
Scott Jordan
Scott Jordan is the Assistant Chief of Police for the City of Westfield, Indiana. He serves on the Board of Directors for the WYAP as the public safety representative.
Scott enjoys working with members of the WYAP, residents, city leaders, and school personnel, to help make Westfield a safe community with an atmosphere where all people can thrive.
Scott lives in Westfield with his wife, two kids, and two black Labradors. In his free time, he enjoys running, traveling, reading, and spending time watching his kids play baseball and softball.
Debbie Laird
Debbie retired from non-profit work in 2020 and now volunteers throughout the community. She currently enjoys serving on the Board of Directors for WYAP, where she leads the Giving Tuesday campaign, and was a mentor for many years. Debbie and her husband, Mike, oversee The Jake Laird Memorial Foundation, which they founded in 2004. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her husband and two adult sons.
Alyssa McCool
Alyssa teaches first grade at Washington Woods Elementary School, where she was the catalyst for the school’s leadership program, The Leader in Me. Alyssa has been employed by Westfield-Washington Schools since 1993. Her passion for helping kids reach their full potential is what led her to join the board, and she furthers that mission by chairing the WYAP Youth Recognition Breakfast. Alyssa lives in Westfield and is married to her high school sweetheart, Chad, and they love spending time with their adult twin sons and daughters-in-law.
Kyle Miller
Kyle is the Director of Student Support and Counseling Services at Westfield-Washington Schools, where he oversees and supports the district-wide systems for school counseling, social work, and mental health. Before stepping into this district-level role, Kyle spent 13 years as a school counselor. He lives in Westfield with his wife, Shannon—also a WWS educator—and their two children, who attend Westfield schools.
Dan Morrow
Dan is the Director of Business Development, at an Internet of Things technology company based in Carmel, and is proud to represent WYAP on the board. He and his wife Becky, with their 3 daughters live in Westfield and are proud to be part of the growing community.
Laura Mulligan
Having served as a classroom teacher for over 20 years, Laura has transitioned her passion of working with youth into a school counselor role. Laura has witnessed the direct impact that WYAP provides to many of our families. Laura and her husband are proud to live in the Westfield community and have two children in the Westfield Washington school system.
Rachel Nelson
Rachel had a passion for sports and events and is able to enjoy her career serving both while on her fourth year with Grand Park Sports Campus.
She currently serves as a WYAP mentor for a teenage girl, is the President for the Westfield Young Professionals and lives at home with her husband and beagle Lucy.
Nick Smarrelli
Nick is Professor of Entrepreneurship and Organizational Psychology at Butler University. He is both a WYAP mentor and executive board member, as well as the Vice Chairman of the Board for Providence Christo Rey High School. He lives in Westfield with his wife Caitlin and their three kids, all of whom attend Westfield schools.
Michael Smith
Michael retired from state government in 2021 after 48 years of service, primarily in the field of financial management. He and his wife moved to Westfield in 2018.
Stephanie Weiss
In addition to being a member of the WYAP board, Stephanie is an AVP and Senior Counsel at Group 1001. She and her husband live in Westfield with their three kids who all play multiple sports and attend Westfield schools.
