Brittany Winebar currently serves as the Director of Advancement at Prevail, Inc. She has been a steadfast advocate for youth and their families, providing leadership and consulting in victim advocacy and trauma-informed and responsive practice. She has previously served as a mentor for Westfield Youth Assistance and on the Board of Directors for Hamilton County Leadership Academy. She is currently the Vice President of Westfield Youth Assistance Program. Brittany resides in Westfield with her two labradoodles.

Kelsey Burton is a dedicated nonprofit leader with over 20 years of experience in executive leadership, fundraising, and organizational management. She currently serves as the first Executive Director of the Mid-North Food Pantry, helping transition it from a volunteer-led to a staff-led organization while strengthening governance and strategic planning. Passionate about community impact, Kelsey has a proven track record of driving sustainable growth, enhancing programs, and developing strong partnerships to support mission-driven work. Through her consulting firm, Tenfold Consulting, she empowers small and mid-sized nonprofits with expertise in strategic planning, leadership development, and operational efficiency. Kelsey resides in Westfield with her husband and pack of rescue dogs.

Mindy is the Sales Manager for CENTURY 21 Scheetz in Carmel, where she leads a team of real estate professionals. She has previously served on the boards of Agape House and Safe Families for Children, and now serves as Secretary for WYAP, where she loves being part of an organization focused on providing opportunities to children and youth in the community. Mindy resides in Westfield with her husband and their two sons, aged 17 and 18.

Madeline is a Management Consultant at Bondry Consulting, a municipal advisory firm. Madeline’s background in commercial underwriting well positions her as the Treasurer of Westfield Youth Assistance Program. Since moving to Westfield in 2018, Madeline has served her community in various capacities and enjoys lending her professional finance background to advance non-profit organizations in the community. WYAP is special to Madeline due to the direct impact on children and families in the neighborhood.

Tammy is passionate about making a difference through service in her community. She has over 15 years of experience in municipal government. She was in the first mentor group of Westfield Youth Assistance and is in her 9th year as a Girl Scout Troop Leader. Tammy additionally serves on the Women of Westfield Board and offers advisory support to the Certified Public Manager Program, Crossroads Church at Westfield Finance Committee, and the Basile Westfield Playhouse. She lives in Westfield with her husband, two kids and dog.


Court Commissioner Christopher Barrows

Court Commissioner Christopher Barrows

Court Commissioner - Hamilton County Courts

Mr. Barrows currently serves as Court Commissioner for Hamilton County Courts.  Mr. Barrows was appointed by the elected judges of Hamilton County in 2022.  As Court Commissioner he is the judicial officer presiding over the Title IV-D court, a high volume child support court with more than 2,000 hearings per year.  He is a lifetime resident of Westfield and chooses to raise his family here.  He believes strongly in supporting the community that has provided so much to himself, his family and Westfield.  Mr Barrows has a long history of community service in Hamilton County as a youth coach, as a member of local community service boards, and as a guardian ad litem advocating for the children and elderly of Hamilton County.  Mr. Barrows is a frequent presenter for the IndyBar, Indiana State Bar Association, Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Hamilton County Bar Association.

Randy is the Director of Network Planning for Brightspeed, a local telecommunications provider serving mostly rural areas. Randy and his wife Betsy moved to Westfield 3 years ago and love the community. Randy and his family, including his two adult children, have been involved in many organizations that support children including Big Brothers, Children’s Museum Guild, Best Buddies, and as a youth sports coach. WYAP provides an opportunity to continue to give back through supporting children.

Natalie has built a 22-year career at Capital Group, focused on client service, operational excellence and collaborative problem-solving in the Retirement Plan industry. Natalie was born and raised in Westfield, is a Westfield High School alum, is a proud mom of a soon-to-be WHS graduate, and an owner of BIGGBY COFFEE Westfield with her husband, David Clase. She is deeply invested in giving back to the community that she calls home.

With a strong focus on customer service, Kari is dedicated to ensuring that every human interaction whether personal or professional receives personalized and attentive support. Her commitment to community involvement is evident through her active participation in local events and initiatives, making her a well-respected figure in the community. Kari is also a proud mother of two children who have achieved success in the WYAP program, showcasing her dedication to both her professional and personal life. Additionally, she is an active member of Altrusa International, further demonstrating her passion for community service and leadership.


Christian Fenn

Director of B2B Programs - SureWerx

Chris has been a resident of Westfield since 2010. During that time, he has served the community through his involvement with the Westfield Kiwanis Club as President (‘21-22’), Board Member (‘19-’23); the Westfield Education Foundation Board (‘19-’21); and as a Director on the Civilian Fire Merit Board (‘25-present). He is also the co-founder of the Donna Fenn Literacy Fund, which supports literacy at William Tell Elementary School in his hometown of Tell City, Indiana. Chris and his wife have a daughter who is a Freshman at Westfield High School. In his spare time, he enjoys playing volleyball, riding motorcycles, and traveling.

Pam Gilbert has been at Delta Faucet Company since 2013, where she has held leadership roles in Finance and Sales Operations and currently serves as the Sr Manager, National Accounts – eComm.  She brings a broad, cross-functional perspective and a strong focus on collaboration and results.

Pam was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but has lived in Westfield since 2015 with her husband and two children.   Outside of work, she enjoys event planning and co-leads her neighborhood Social Committee.  Pam is also active in the community, volunteering with Gleaners Food Bank and the Good Samaritan Network when she is not cheering on her kids in their sports and extracurricular activities.

Chad Gross currently serves as the Operations Manager for the LEDVANCE (Formerly Known as OSRAM SYLVANIA) National Customer Service, Sales, and Lightpoint Training Center on Union Street here in Westfield where he has been employed for the past 26 years. Together with his wife Valerie, who has shared in this journey for three decades, Chad’s heart beats passionately for their community. They have opened their hearts and home as former foster parents, nurturing and impacting lives for nine transformative years, and they have steadfastly supported the Westfield Youth Assistance Program for over 13 years, embodying the true spirit of giving back.

Tonya is a community focused leader with a passion to build strong networks and communities and has a long history of community advocacy and volunteering. Currently, Tonya works for Centier Bank as their Regional Growth and Engagement Coordinator and also serves on the Westfield Youth Assistance Program Board, Hamilton County Community Foundation Board, Westfield Education Foundation Board, and Class of 2024 Hamilton County Leadership Academy (HCLA). When not working or volunteering, Tonya enjoys spending time with her husband and two children who are involved in soccer and swimming.

Eric is the founding and current Lead Pastor at CrossRoads Church at Westfield. CrossRoads Church is known for its focus on meeting, knowing, and serving our local neighbors. He currently serves as the secretary of the Westfield Fire Merit Board, President of ForOurNeighborInc, a local not for profit committed to providing for local neighbors, and serves on the board of The Point Theater, a children’s drama group in Hamilton County. He has served as a board member and past Chairman of the Board of the Westfield Chamber of Commerce. Eric is married to Carol and they have two adult daughters who graduated from Westfield Schools. Eric enjoys traveling and doing mission work. He has visited all fifty of our United States and twenty-three countries.


John P. Lowes

Chief Deputy - Hamilton County Sheriff's Office

John and his wife, Candice, reside in Westfield.  They have been married for 30 years and have three adult children who graduated from Westfield High School.  He has more than 27 years of service as a full-time, sworn law enforcement officer.  He currently serves as the Chief Deputy for Sheriff Dennis Quakenbush.  In this role, he oversees the daily operations of the sheriff’s office and directly supervises the six division commanders.  John has dedicated his career to keeping Hamilton County safe.  In addition to his normal responsibilities, he is President of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Community Foundation, 2nd Vice-President of the Southern Police Institute Alumni Association, Secretary of the Hamilton County Community Corrections Advisory Board, Junior Church Teacher at Trinity Baptist Church, and a member of the Indiana Sheriff’s Association, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 103, and the Justice Reinvestment Advisory Council.

Vin is a former WYAP mentee and Board Member that recently graduated from Purdue University. Since serving on the board, from 2019-2024, Vin has been focused on his career in computer hardware and software. Vin joined the board of directors to support and contribute to the community that, on many occasions, did the same for him. When he’s not working or volunteering, he enjoys spending time with his dog, Kiwi.

Alyssa teaches first grade at Washington Woods Elementary School, where she was the catalyst for the school’s leadership program, The Leader in Me. Alyssa has been employed by Westfield-Washington Schools since 1993. Her passion for helping kids reach their full potential is what led her to join the board, and she furthers that mission by chairing the WYAP Youth Recognition Breakfast. Alyssa lives in Westfield and is married to her high school sweetheart, Chad, and they love spending time with their adult twin sons and daughters-in-law.

Kyle is the Director of Student Support and Counseling Services at Westfield-Washington Schools, where he oversees and supports the district-wide systems for school counseling, social work, and mental health. Before stepping into this district-level role, Kyle spent 14 years as a school counselor. He lives in Westfield with his wife, Shannon—also a WWS educator—and their two children, who attend Westfield schools.

Having served as a classroom teacher for over 20 years, Laura has transitioned her passion of working with youth into a school counselor role. Laura has witnessed the direct impact that WYAP provides to many of our families. Laura and her husband are proud to live in the Westfield community and have two children in the Westfield Washington school system.

Client Services Manager - Grand Park Sports Campus

Rachel Nelson is the Client Services Manager at Grand Park Sports Campus, where she oversees client relationships and event operations for large-scale sports and community events. She brings extensive experience in sports tourism, facility management, and stakeholder coordination, working closely with local partners to create impactful experiences for athletes and families. A proud Purdue Boilermaker, Rachel lives locally with her husband and their two beagles, Lucy and Sherman.


Casey Thifault

Police Officer - Westfield Police Department

Casey Thifault is a Police Officer with the Westfield Police Department and is currently assigned as the School Resource Officer at Westfield Middle School. With a strong commitment to youth safety and community engagement, Casey works closely with students, staff, and families to foster a safe, supportive, and positive school environment. Casey has served as a police officer since 2021 and brings years of experience in public service, problem-solving, and community-oriented policing. She is also an active mentor with Westfield Youth Assistance, where she is dedicated to early intervention, mentorship, and helping young people navigate challenges in a healthy and productive way. Through her work in the school setting and her involvement with WYAP, Casey is passionate about strengthening connections between law enforcement, schools, and families to support the overall well-being and success of Westfield’s youth.
