2025 Highlights
Youth Recognition Breakfast
Our 15th annual Youth Recognition Breakfast, held May 7th at IMMI Conference Center, honored 13 students who have overcome adversity, demonstrated positive change, or made a positive academic turnaround. The recipients ranged from kindergarten through 11th grade. Westfield High School senior, Madeline Lineville was awarded the Christine D. Brown
Memorial Scholarship.
“The Double” Walk/Run
WYAP held our second annual “The Double” Walk/Run on August 9 at Cool Creek Park. We had 246 participants who walked and ran a 2-mile closed loop around the park. To add to the fun, we added two bounce houses to this year’s event. Participants were treated to free breakfast courtesy of Arby’s in Westfield. It was a wonderful event and we were so happy to see so many of our community members out to support WYAP.
